Tire Pressure Sensor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench (V.A.G 1410)

Removing

-

Remove union nut - 1 -.

-

Remove tire pressure sensor - 2 - from rim well.

Installing

‹› Replace damaged sensors.

‹› When using used tire pressure monitoring sensors, check connection between sensor and valve for damage.

‹› For safety reason, replace tire pressure monitoring sensor and clean rim after using tire sealant.

‹› Do not clean tire pressure sensors with steam jet cleaners or strong compressed air.

‹› When sliding new seal and sealing washer on, prevent the valve body from being pressed through by counter holding it (the antenna connection

could be damaged).

Insert tire pressure sensor with new seal and sealing washer through rim from inside and press seal into valve bore.
