‹› Left secondary air combination valve shown. The right secondary air combination valve is similar.

Remove the vacuum hose - 3 - from secondary air injection (AIR) combination valve.

Press the release buttons in and remove the secondary air hose - 4 -.

Connect a hand vacuum pump on vacuum connection - 1 - of the secondary air combination valve to be tested.

Connect a suitable assisting hose to secondary air combination valve - 2 -.

Blow into assisting hose using light pressure (do not use pressurized air).
The secondary air combination valve must remain closed preventing air from passing through.

Operate the hand vacuum pump to create a vacuum
The secondary air combination valve must open allowing air to pass through.
