Hazard Warning Switch: Service and Repair

Emergency Flasher Button

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Pry off the cover for the - 1 - MMI screen on the corners using the Trim Removal Wedge (3409) - arrow -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the installation frame.

-

Press the Emergency Flasher Button (E229) - item 1 - out of the installation frame - 2 - - arrow -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Press the MMI screen cover into the mounting points until the clips engage completely.
