2. Check ground point on longitudinal member (on the right side, to the outside rear of the alternator) depending on the configuration of the ground

wire as described below.

Version A: Ground wire (Figure 2, 2) runs horizontally to ground point (Figure 2, 1).

No further steps are required.

Version B: Ground wire (Figure 3, 2) runs vertically to ground point (Figure 3, 1) and is not sheathed with a corrugated tube.

No further steps are required.
