Selector Shaft Seal

Selector Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry Lever - Rmv Outside Mirror (80 - 200)

‹› Thrust piece (T10135)

Removing

-

Press selector lever cable ball socket - 1 - off the selector shaft lever using the Pry Lever - Rmv Outside Mirror (80 - 200).

‹› Do not bend or kink the selector lever cable.

Drive out the spring pin - 1 - at the selector shaft lever - 2 - in the direction illustrated - arrow - until the lever can be removed from the selector
shaft.

CAUTION!
The selector shaft running surface could be damaged.

‹› Position the screwdriver carefully.

Pierce shaft seal with a small screwdriver and pull out.
