‹› Only loosen the clamping screw - do not remove it.

‹› Clamping screw is only accessible in selector lever position " D".

‹› Selector lever must remain in position "D" while clamping screw is loose.

Press selector lever cable ball socket - 1 - off the selector shaft lever using the pry lever (80 - 200).

‹› Do not bend or kink the selector lever cable.

‹› Lightly grease eyelet and ball socket of selector lever cable with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2) before installing.

‹› Disregard - 2 -.

Press shift lever - 1 - on the transmission all the way back - arrow - until the parking log engages.
