Remove shift lock solenoid (N110).

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

‹› Tightening specification. Refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Assembly Overview ] See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter A/T/Service

and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Selector Mechanism Assembly Overview.

Rotate ball head - 1 - into the correct installation position.

Guide shift lock solenoid (N110) diagonally from above into the shift mechanism and tilt the bottom opposite direction of - arrow -.

‹› The ball head - 1 - must engage completely in the operating lever on shift mechanism. Press it down using a small screwdriver if necessary.

Secure the shift lock solenoid (N110) on the retaining hooks - A -.

Place the cover - A - over the shift lock solenoid (N110) and carefully let it engage - 1 through 3 -.
