Pick up brake piston with normal commercial ratchet attachment and extension (as shown), and press lightly against protective cap. 

Note: Keep piston straight while installing, to avoid damaging seal.

Blow air into protective cap using a compressed air line (not more than 3 bar). Protective cap will spring over brake piston.

Note: Use protective covers.

Push piston into brake caliper housing by hand.

Note: Inner sealing lip will spring into groove on piston when piston is installed.
