Make sure brake light switch has been removed.
1. Inserting disengaging tool -T10006

Guide tool in from bottom

2. Disengagement procedure

Hold brake pedal securely. Pry retaining tabs from ball head by tapping lightly on tool (arrow-A-)

Keep tension on tool so that retaining tabs do not re-engage at ball head

^

Pull brake pedal from ball head (arrow -B-)

When installing, pay particular attention to the following points 
-

Brake light switch, adjusting.

-

Vent valve for cruise control system, adjusting.

Bleeding clutch hydraulics:

-

Connect VAS 5234 but do not switch on yet.

Open bleeder valve on clutch slave cylinder.

-

Attach collector bottle hose.

-

Switch on bleeder unit and allow approximately. 100 cc of brake fluid to flow out of clutch slave cylinder.

Close bleeder valve.
