Function of the CAN-Bus
Bus:
A bus is a defined path or "highway" for the transmission and distribution of data signals.
CAN:
A Controller Area Network is a bus system working with two wires, known as bus wires. The bus wires transmit data signals in serial form (one after
the other) to the control modules connected into the system.
The signals are transmitted via CAN-Bus. Further details and test instructions, ,Refer to Can-Bus, testing. The CAN-Bus employs only two bus wires,
which are capable of transmitting all the required data. Two wires are employed in order to be able to detect faults in the wires themselves.
