Power Steering Pump: Locations

Power steering pump, assembly overview

Note:

Always replace seals

Do not reuse fluid you have drained.

Hydraulic fluid. Pail No. G 002 000

When replacing Me power steering pump always check alignment of the pulleys for A/C compressor and power steering pump. 

1. Screw and washer assembly, 22 Nm
2. Bracket 
3. Socket head bolt, 22 Nm

Rear mount for power steering pump to bracket

4. Bushing, slotted

^

Used to balance out tolerances 

5. Expansion hose

Power steering pump - steering gear

Note installation position:

Angle -a- : approximately 75°

6. Banjo bolt, 47 Nm 
7. Seals

Always replace 

8. Intake hose

Power steering pump - power steering fluid reservoir

Note installation position:

Angle -b- : approximately 90°
