Thread VW771 special tool into T40018 special tool.

Pull off joint piece horizontally using knocking tool.

Leave joint piece in T40018 special tool.

^

Mark installation position of parts 1 and 2 with lines.

If they are not marked and are not re-installed in their previously installed positions, noises may occur later during 
driving operation.
A water-proof felt pen is well-suited for marking.
1. Drive axle
2. Triple roller connection

Remove grease with a lint free cloth.

^

Remove securing ring.
