Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module J136 Or J521 , Removing And Installing

NOTE:

-

The Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module J136 orJ521 is located under the front seat.

-

If Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module J136 or J521 is faulty, the upper seat pan frame must be removed.

Removing

CAUTION:  Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

-

Remove front seat.

-

Attach front seat to Fixture For Seat Repair VAS 6136.

-

Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2).

-

Rotate memory seat/steering column adjustment control module - 1 -.

-

Release retaining bracket - 4 - and remove connector - 5 -. 

-

Press retainer tabs - 3 - (Qty. 2) and remove connector - 2 -.

-

Remove bolts - 2 -.

-

Remove Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module J136 or J521 - 3 - from bracket - 1 -.

Installing
