Seat Heating Element, Standard Seat

‹› Removing

-

Remove seat => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Front Memory Seats.

-

Remove the backrest => [ Front Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Front Memory Seats.

-

Remove cover and padding from seat pan => [ Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery, Standard Seat ].

Cut wire - 2 - off of old heating element -  1 -.

‹› Installing

-

Align heating element - 1 - on seat surface, remove protective foil and glue heating element to cushion.

-

Insert electrical wire - 2 - into the gap -  3 -.

-

Route connecting wires at locations - 4 - in bottom of gaps, avoiding crossover.
