Remove protective cap from brake caliper, e.g. with Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

-

Remove seal.

-

Use Trim Removal Wedge 3409 - 2 - for this.

Piston Resetting Tool T10145 - 1 -.

Note:

When removing make sure that the surface of the cylinder is not damaged.

Installing

-

The surface of the piston and seal must only be cleaned with mineral spirits and then dried.

-

Thinly coat piston and seal with assembly paste before inserting.

-

Insert inner seal in brake caliper groove using trim removal wedge 8.658.86 cm.

-

Press in protective cap using special tool - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Assembly tool for protective caps T10146/5 - 1 -.

-

Piston Resetting Tool T10145 - 2 -.

Use protective backings.
