Vacuum Pump Component Overview, RS 6

The RS 6 has a mechanically driven vacuum pump. There is also a vacuum connection on the intake manifold for the critical idle.

The vacuum pump is attached on the right cylinder block to the bulkhead. 

‹› The engine must be removed in order to be able to remove/install the vacuum pump.
