Remove assembly device.

Place the Pull Sleeve (T40048/2) on the crankshaft and slide the shaft seal - 1 - into the sealing surface on the engine.

‹› The pull sleeve remains on crankshaft for pressing in.

Attach the Pressure Sleeve (T40048/3) to the crankshaft with two M8 x 55 mm bolts - arrows -.

-

Install the bolts by hand.

Tighten bolts 1/2 turn each, alternating sides, to press the shaft seal in as far as the stop.
