By pivoting adjustment motor - 1 - to the side, push ball head of adjustment axle out of ball head mount.

Remove headlamp beam adjustment motor out of headlamp housing.

Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

Installing

‹› Tightening specification. Refer to => [ HID Headlamps with Dynamic Cornering Light Overview, A6 and S6 ] See: Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/HID Headlamps with Dynamic Cornering Light Overview, A6 and S6.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

First, insert ball head of adjustment axle from the side into ball head mount of reflector, pull reflector toward rear to do so.

‹› Always adjust headlamps after removing, installing or replacing adjustment motors.

Close the housing lid.

Connect battery. Required actions => [ ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Battery.
