Disconnect electrical connector - arrow - on Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70).

-

Remove upper section of right air filter housing.

Remove air filter element.

Installing

Installation is in the reverse order of removal, note the following. 

For trouble-free function of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, it is important to observe the following notes and perform the work procedures exactly. 

‹› In the event the air filter element is severely contaminated or completely saturated, dirt particles or moisture may penetrate the MAF sensor and

falsify the measured air mass value. This results in a reduction of power, since a lower injection quantity is calculated.

‹› Always use an original equipment air filter element.

‹› Air filter housing must always be clean.

‹› Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.
