Carefully pull Fuel Level Sensor 2 G169 -1 - and suction jet pump- 2 - partially out of fuel tank opening.

NOTE:  When removing, be sure not to bend floater arm of Fuel Level Sensor 2 G169.

Unclip suction jet pump from locking flange.

Separate electrical connector- 1 -.

Release retaining tabs - arrows - with a screwdriver and remove Fuel Level Sensor 2 G169.

Installing

Tightening torque. 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting following: 

NOTE:  Always replace seal and union nut.

Insert Fuel Level Sensor 2 G169 in guides on locking flange and press in until it engages.

Connect electrical connection and check that it is securely engaged.

-

Clip suction jet pump to locking flange so that it is audibly engaged.

-

Check whether fuel delivery line is connected to suction jet pipe with at least 3 cable ties.

NOTE:  When inserting, be sure not to bend floater arm of Fuel Level Sensor 2 G169.

Carefully insert Fuel Level Sensor 2 G169 in fuel tank opening.

-

Install new locking flange seal dry.

-

Press locking flange down against spring pressure and bring it into installation position.
