Connector

Version I

‹› Disconnect the connector: Press the retainer - 3 - in the - direction of the arrow - and remove the crash sensor -  2 -.

Version II

‹› Disconnect the connector => [ Disconnecting the connector on the crash sensor - version II ].

Front side airbag crash sensor (pressure sensor)

‹› Removing

-

Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition switched on.

-

Remove door trim => [ Front Door Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and
Repair/Front Door Trim.

-

Remove the speaker in the door. 

-

Reach the crash sensor - 2 - through the opening for the speaker and disconnect the electrical connector => [ (Item 1) Connector ]. 

-

Carefully remove the insulation far enough to reach the nuts -  4 -.

-

Remove the nuts and the crash sensor.

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. When doing so, note the following:
