Move steering gear to the left and remove it.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Install steering gear from the left (a second technician is needed) until the connector can be connected.

Steering gear with separate connector

Connect the connector - 1 - and secure it to the steering gear using a cable tie - 2 -, as illustrated.

If the steering gear was replaced, then the wiring harness connector must be adapted to the steering gear.
