Tiptronic Switch, Removing and Installing

Tiptronic Switch, Removing And Installing

Turn off all electrical components. 

-

Remove ignition key. 

Removing 

CAUTION:  Special safety precautions apply to vehicles equipped with airbags. Heed all WARNINGS pertaining to airbag servicing

Remove drivers airbag. 

-

Pull off decorative ring from steering wheel.

-

Slide multi-function button - 2 - out of steering wheel in - direction of arrow -. 

-

Turn the button around.

-

Disconnect harness connector - 2 - at multi-function button - 1 -.

-

Remove screw - arrow - and remove Tiptronic switch downward. 

Installing 

-

Install in reverse order.
Removing and installing the left switch is identical.
