Chamfer on inner diameter of ball hub (splines) must face contact shoulder of drive axle.
Use special tool shown in illustration.
The press block (40-204 A) and the clamping surface on the drive axle must be free of oil.
Circlip must be replaced.

Install circlip.

Check circlip for correct seating.

Insert 60 grams of joint grease in the boot side of the joint before installing the protective boot.

Install the protective boot onto the inner joint.

Apply 60 grams of joint grease to CV joint through ball paths.

Lubricate cover contact surface.
-
Align new cover with bolts - arrows - to bolt holes.
