If YES:

Engine Control Module Harness Connector

Using wiring diagram, locate and repair open circuit between: terminal 37 of Engine Control Module (ECM) harness connector and terminal 2
of fuel injector harness connector being tested.

If LED tester still does NOT light up:

-

Replace ECM.

-

Re-install injector valve circuit breaker -S72-.

2-Pin Connector

-

Connect LED tester to terminal 2 of fuel injector harness connector and engine GND.

-

Switch ignition ON and crank starter for a few seconds.

LED tester must light up when ignition is switched ON, and during cranking.

If light goes out during starter cranking:

Verify that injector valve circuit breaker -S72-. is OK.

-

Switch DVOM Fluke 83 (US 1119) to resistance range.

-

Check continuity (according to wiring diagram), between: terminal 2 of fuel injector harness connector and injector valve circuit breaker -S72-.

-

Check continuity (according to wiring diagram), between: injector valve circuit breaker -S72-, and terminal 31 of fuel pump relay -J17- (relay
location 6).

-

Check fuel pump relay.

Note:  If necessary, also check control signal to fuel pump relay.
