Recirculation Flap Motor -V113-, Removing and Installing

NOTE:

-

Mark connecting element motor/flap when removing (danger of swapping with connecting elements of the other actuator motors).

-

For the malfunction "adaptation limit exceeded", check connecting element at motor, there must be no play between the shaft of the actuator motor
and the connecting element.

If the actuator motor makes clicking or rattling noises in regular intervals (approx. every 7 minutes), observe notes on (actuator motors for center
vent, removing and installing).

Remove plenum cover.

-

Remove windshield wipers and cowl panel complete

-

Remove cover with air flow flap.

-

Remove 4 screws -A-, pry off clips -B- and remove cover together with recirculating air flap from the air conditioner assembly.

-

Remove cover.

-

Remove 2 screws -A- and remove flap motor.

-

Before installing flap motor, check mounting of the air flow flap (knob -C- must be positioned between the stops -D-).

-

If the shaft of the motor is positioned in such a way that it is not possible to install the motor, see instructions regarding installation.

Tighten securing screws -A- only by hand, tightening torque 8 Ncm (0.7 in. lb).

After installing the cover, check that the grommet -B- is correctly located.

-

After installing, always check DTC memory.
