Convertible Top Hydraulic Control Unit: Service and Repair

Assembly overview

Note: Convertible top must be removed before removing hydraulic pump.

1 - Ball stud

2 - Rubber washer

Rubber washer must be pushed onto ball stud -1- before attaching hydraulic cylinder -3-.

3 - Right hydraulic cylinder

4 - Spring clip

-

To remove hydraulic cylinder, lift spring clip slightly using a screwdriver and pull cylinder off ball stud.

5 - Ball stud

6 - Clip

7 - Noise chamber

8 - Torx bolt

-

8 Nm

9 - Solenoid valve
