Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) -K83- Checking

Checking function of control lamp

Turn ignition on.
-

The fault indicator for self diagnosis (MIL) must be turned on.

Start engine.
-

Shortly after starting engine, the MIL will turn off if there are no malfunctions stored in fault memory that affect exhaust emissions.

NOTE:  The signal to turn on MIL is sent from ECM to instrument cluster via CAN-Bus communications. Data transfer between ECM and other
