Remove rear heat shield and bracket for exhaust system (arrows).

-

Remove the rear nut (arrow) of cover for EVAP canister.

-

Fold cover for EVAP canister down at rear edge.

Continuation for all vehicles

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector (arrow).

NOTE:  Depicted in illustration for a vehicle with Front Wheel Drive (FWD).

-

Connect multimeter at valve for resistance measurement.
Specified value: 22 ... 26 Ohm

If specified value is not obtained:

-

Replace Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve -N115-, item 10 .

Erase DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM), Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data. See: Computers and Control

Test
