NOTE:  

Do not install nuts or washers on the bolts even if nuts or washers appear to be missing on the driveshaft (not installed on one, two or three
bolts). Installing nuts or washers on the bolts may cause the driveshaft to become out of balance.

When service requires driveshaft to be removed or disconnected, if nuts or washers have been installed on any of the driveshaft bolts (Figure 1, 1)
during production:

1. Mark location of any installed nut/washers.

2. Reinstall nuts/washers in the exact location when reinstalling the driveshaft.

NOTE:  

Installing nuts or washers in the wrong location may cause driveshaft vibration.
