Secure rear final drive to mounting block.

Place drip tray under final drive.

Remove driveshaft flange hexagon nut.
A- Hexagon bolts M 8 x 20
Notes: When loosening driveshaft flange hexagon nut counter - hold using pipe - C - with special tool 2004 (2nd technician).

Pull off driveshaft flange. If the flange does not come off easily, use three - arm puller, e.g. Kukko 12 -1.

Pull seal out with removal tool VW 681.
