Strip 15 mm of insulation at end of wire using wire strippers and fold uninsulated wire in half.

Thread new wheel speed sensor wire

Be sure not to twist wheel speed sensor wire in wheel housing when installing wheel speed sensor.

Connect harness connector -1-.

Connect wire to wheel speed sensor.

Disconnect two-pin connector at new wheel speed sensor wire if present using wire strippers, strip 15 mm of insulation at end of wire using wire
strippers and fold uninsulated wire in half.

Instead of welding point, use an appropriate crimp connector from VAS1978 wiring harness repair set to connect wheel speed sensor wire.

Note: The operation manual for the VAS1978 wiring harness repair kit generally forbids the repair of any lines in the ABS system. This rule only

pertains to the shielded lines in this system.
