Fresh Air Blower -V2-, Separating From From Base Plate

Fresh Air Blower -V2-, Separating From From Base Plate

NOTE:  On vehicles from initial production, the fresh air blower is secured to the base plate by a screw. The base plate may also have a special mat to
provide noise insulation.

Remove screw -A-.

Remove fresh air blower from base plate-B-.

NOTE:  As a running change in production, the original version will gradually be replaced by one in which the fresh air blower is clipped to the base
plate.

Depress retainer clips -A-.

Remove fresh air blower from base plate -B-.

NOTE: 

-

When re-installing the blower to the base plate, make sure that mounting lugs -C- are correctly positioned.

After installing, make sure that fresh air blower is properly mounted to the base plate.

After installing, make sure that fresh air blower is properly seated in the heating and A/C unit housing.
