Rear Light Housing, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Open flap in luggage compartment side trim behind rear light (on left or right side).

-

Loosen two securing bolts -2-.

-

Ball pin -7- on rear light housing is just a press fit in clip -1-.

-

Disconnect electrical connection.

-

Pull out rear light from rear of vehicle.

Installing

-

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

When installing, make sure that the seal between the body and the rear light housing is properly seated.

Before tightening securing bolts -2-, align rear light with body contours (uniform gaps all around).

Make sure that ball pin -7- is firmly located in plastic clip -1- (ball pin can be adjusted to align rear light with body).
