Turn Signal Bulb: Service and Repair

Turn Signal Bulb, Replacing

NOTE:

-

Left or right engine compartment trim must be removed prior to access to rear of headlight housing.

-

Removal and installation procedure is identical for normal (halogen) and High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) lamps.

Removing

-

Turn bulb holder -9- counter-clockwise and remove from housing -1-.

-

Only unplug electrical connector if bulb holder -9- has to be replaced.

-

Remove bulb -10- from bulb holder -9-.

Installing

CAUTION:  Do not touch glass portion of bulb with bare hands. Even the smallest amount of moisture and/or contaminants from fingers that
evaporates on the bulb during operation can cause the glass to cloud over.

Install new bulb in bulb holder.

-

Install in reverse order of removal.
