Installing Ribbed Belt

Installing ribbed belt 

Note:   Before fitting the ribbed belt ensure that all accessories (generator, air conditioning compressor, vane pump) are properly secured.

Install ribbed belt.

Loosen tensioning element for ribbed belt. Pull out punch or conrod support 3090 -arrows-.

-

Start engine and check that belt runs properly.

Note:   Engines with an air conditioning compressor are fitted with a double ribbed belt.
