Condition

Groaning or howling noise from engine compartment when accelerating during partial load between 2500-3000 RPM.

Rattling noise when decelerating between 2000-3000 RPM.

May be caused by the Internal diaphragm of the Charge pressure bypass valve producing pulsating noises.

SERVICE:

-

Road test to verify condition.

-

Remove upper engine cover.

-

Remove Charge pressure bypass valve.

-

Install new Charge pressure bypass valve, Part no: 06A 145 710N.

-

Install upper engine cover.

-

Road test to verify condition has been eliminated.
