Side Air-bag Connector, Disconnecting

NOTE:

Before disconnecting igniter and Ground (GND) wiring, the technician must discharge static electricity by briefly touching door lock striker or
bodywork.

Parts are shown disassembled in magnified views for better illustration.

Airbag connector
-

Pull retainer tab -3- with one finger in direction of arrow -A-.

-

At the same time, pull side-airbag connector with other hand to the rear.

-

Press retainer tab -2- and pull off connector -1- in direction of arrow.
