ABS wheel speed sensor, removing and installing

Removing

-

Disconnect harness connector -1- from wheel speed sensor wire and wheel speed sensor.

-

Remove bolt -2- from wheel bearing housing.

-

Pull ABS wheel speed sensor out of wheel bearing housing.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

Before inserting wheel speed sensor, clean inner surface of bore hole and coat sensor completely with securing grease G 000 650

-

Turn wheels completely to left and right stop positions and check clearance to ABS wheel speed sensor wiring.

Tightening torque
Wheel speed sensor to wheel bearing housing ..........................................................................................................................................................  8 Nm
