Remove circlip.

-

Open hose clamp.

-

Pull joint with boot off shaft.

-

Clean shaft and housing.

Notes:  The rollers on the triple roller star must not be pressed off.

-

Press drive axle in vice.

-

Hold drive axle securely and press triple roller star off drive axle. 

-

Pull joint off drive axle.

Assembling 

-

Slide boot onto shaft.

-

Slide joint onto shaft.

Assembling triple roller star 

-

The chamfer on the triple roller star faces toward the shaft, this is used as an assembly aid.
