Secure tie rods to suspension struts using tensioning straps T10038 (apply straps next to inner rubber boots). This will prevent the steering column
from slipping off from steering gear splines during the next step.

Remove nut for coupling rod from stabilizer bar.

Remove Torx socket head bolt for noise insulation panel.

Mark positions of nuts.

Remove bottom nuts from ball joint.

Remove diagonal strut (if installed).
