The bushings can be replaced after lowering the subframe.
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383A
^
Splitter Kukko 15-1 mit Kukko 17-1; items. 1, 2 and 4 are not required.
^
Base block VW441
^
Thrust plate VW447 h
^
Torque wrench V.A.G 1332, measuring range 40 to 200 Nm
-
Remove noise insulation panel.
