Connect remote control connection(V.A.G 1348/3A using adapter cable V.A.G 1348/3-2 ) to right terminal of Fuse (on fuse panel) - S228- socket

Connect alligator clip to vehicle battery B+.

Remove fuel filler cap from fuel filler tube.
CAUTION: Fuel system is under pressure. Before opening the system place a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by
carefully loosening the connection.

Disconnect fuel return line -1 - from line connection - 2 - (press release button).

Connect adapter (V.A.G 1318/17) to engine fuel return line and hold in a measuring container.

Operate remote control 15 seconds (keep button pressed).

Compare the quantity of fuel delivered with specification.

Minimum delivery rate cu.cm/15 s

Voltage at fuel pump with engine off and pump running (approx. 2 volts less than battery voltage).
