Remove screw -1- and remove coolant expansion tank cover (arrow).
WARNING: Fuel supply lines are under pressure. Before removing from hose connection wrap a cloth around the connection. Then
release pressure by carefully pulling hose off connection.

Disconnect fuel return line -1- from line tube -2- (press release button).

Connect VAG1318/17 adapter to fuel return line from engine and hold in a measuring container.

Operate remote control for 15 seconds (keep button pressed).

Compare fuel quantity pumped with specified value.

**) Voltage at fuel pump with engine off and pump running (approx. 2 volts less than battery voltage).
