For repairs to the clutch

When working on the engine, it should be secured to the engine stand using the engine bracket VW 540.
1 - 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 degrees) further

Replace
^
Counter-hold with 3099 retainer to loosen and tighten
^
Place 2 washers between pulley and retainer when mounting retainer
2 - Crankshaft sprocket
^
Can only be installed in one position
^
Contact surface between sprocket and crankshaft must be free of oil
3 - 15 Nm
4 - Oil seal
5 - Sealing flange, front
^
Must be located on dowel sleeves
6 - Cylinder block
