Removing

Remove luggage compartment side trim. See: Luggage Compartment Side Trim

Remove the outer rear floor assembly anchorage point. Refer to => [ Outer Rear Floor Assembly Anchorage Point ] See: Restraint Systems/Seat
Belt Systems/Seat Belt/Service and Repair.

Remove roof panel trim. See: Roof Panel Trim

Remove nuts - 8 -.

Remove expanding clip - 3 -.
‹› From approximately February 2007, a keyhole - 9 - for the spring clamp with hooks - 4 - was created on the body side.
CAUTION!
On vehicles made before February 2007, the C-pillar can be damaged if the C-pillar trim - 2 - is removed incorrectly. Follow the steps below
exactly.

Unclip the C-pillar trim - 2 - using the Trim Removal Wedge (3409) at the spring clips - 7 - (quantity: 3).
Vehicles with keyhole:

Slide the spring clip - 4 - with the C-pillar trim - 2 - forward and up out of the keyhole.
Vehicles without keyhole:
-
Pull the C-pillar trim - 2 - back and down. The spring clip - 4 - must slide out of the brace - 5 - on the C-pillar trim - 2 -. The spring clip - 4 -
remains in the body.

Carefully remove the spring clip - 4 - from the body.
Installation
To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:
‹› If the spring clips - 7 - remain in the mounting points on the body, remove them and insert them in the trim.
