Affected Vehicles

91 Radio Generation 2+: clock display doesn't work

Condition

Clock (screen saver) feature is not displayed in the set up menu.

Technical Background

The clock (screen saver) feature is not available, although the operating instruction booklet indicates that this feature is available.

Production Solution

Clock (screen saver) available from production in calendar week 45/2006 with software level 220.

Service

Please review the About this User's Manual section in the operating instruction booklet. It informs the owner that, among other things, some of the
equipment / features will not be available until a later date.

To activate the clock (screen saver) feature on radios with software level 220 or higher, change the value in adaptation channel 2 of the radio (address
word 56, radio - generation 2+) from zero to four.
