Halogen Headlamps

Left And Right Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motors V48 / V49 , Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove headlamp.

-

Release spring clip - arrow - and remove low beam bulb housing cover - 1 - from headlamp housing.

-

Remove screws - arrows -.

-

By swivelling control motor - 1 -, push ball end of positioning stem downwards out of socket.

-

Press reflector forward and remove adjusting motor.

-

Unplug electrical connection - 2 -.

Installing

-

Tightening torque.

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
-

First reconnect connector and insert adjusting axle ball head into reflector ball head mount from below by pulling reflector back.

NOTE:  The headlamps must be adjusted if the adjusting motors are removed and installed or replaced.

Close housing lid.

-

Secure housing cover using wire clamp.

-

Install headlamp.
