Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Removing

CAUTION!

Bag/Service Precautions.

Open hood.

-

Clamp off ground wire at battery with ignition switched off. 

Vehicles with 1front airbag crash sensor

CAUTION!
‹› Before handling belt tensioner units (e.g. disconnecting electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity

". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Disconnect electrical connector - 2 - on front airbag crash sensor - 3 -.

Remove bolts - 1 - (quantity: 2).

Remove front airbag crash sensor - 3 -.

Vehicles with 2 front airbag crash sensors

CAUTION!
