Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Transmission Input Speed Sensor and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor

Removing

Proceed as follows:

CAUTION!
Risk of transmission damage.

‹› Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or without transmission fluid.

Working Conditions.

Drain transmission fluid => [ Transmission Fluid, Changing and Filling ] See: Fluid - A/T/Service and Repair/Transmission Fluid, Changing and
Filling.

Remove oil pan => [ Oil Pan ] See: Fluid Pan/Service and Repair/Oil Pan.

Remove Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic ( J743) => [ Direct Shift Gearbox, Mechatronic ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/02E Transmission/Direct Shift Gearbox, Mechatronic.

Remove bolt - B -.

-

Remove Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor ( G182) and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor (G509 ) - A - together with wire from transmission.

Installing

‹› Tightening torques => [ Oil Pan, Mechatronic, and Transmission Oil Pump Assembly Overview ] See: Fluid Pan/Service and Repair/Oil Pan,

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:
